An anonymized write-up of a real project. We don't disclose the client's data, interfaces or internal rules.
The company rents out cars, offers rent-to-own and sells cars. Before the project it used a third-party CRM with a monthly fee. The task was to connect the site and the CRM, adapt how rentals work and link them to the accounting.
We connected the site and the CRM, adapted the rental mechanics and the car availability calculation, set up documents and access roles, linked income and expenses to multi-currency accounting, and added statistics and lead funnels.
- The site and the CRM became one connected system, and the team spends less time keeping information up to date.
- The project launched recently; order volume is still at its previous level, and we're watching the commercial results.
- We continue to support the system after launch.
We brought the website and the internal work of a car business into one shared process. We adapted the rental mechanics and the accounting so the team spends less time keeping information up to date.
Where this experience helps
When the data on the site depends on internal operations, it's important to design how they connect together. In this project, resource availability, documents, customer work and financial records became parts of one process.
The same approach can be discussed for other services with their own pricing, accounting and customer-interaction logic.
